How do you cancel the email you sent in Gmail?
You have just sent an Email, which should not have been sent in the first place. How do you stop it in the middle of the lightning fast age of internet?
Best answer: Always double check before sending! It is an arrow out of bow. It can’t be stopped.
Second best answer: Enable Google’s Email undo feature.
Bad News: If you had not already enabled this feature before sending that clumsy email… then… You better be preparing for an explanation.
But before you go prepare for the explanation, Here is how you can enable this Google’s feature to avoid making the same mistake again.
- Log in to Gmail (Obviously)
- Click the Google settings/gear icon on top right of the screen
- Select Settings
- Find: “Undo Send”
- Enable it and set the time interval
Basically, Google doesn’t send the email for those selected seconds, this gives you enough time to stop that stupid email if you are vigilant enough.
