How to bulk rename file extensions in Windows?
To repeat the same lowly things again and again is such a waste of human lives. When you have an awesome piece of machine slave at your disposal… then why not use it to ease up your life?
But man! Repetition is powerful, it helps you to become a MASTER of the trade.
Master of bulk file renamer? Good luck buddy.
Those of you, still with me, fire up your command prompt (cmd)
Navigate to the folder containing your files to be converted.
You can use cd /path/to/folder to navigate to the folder
In the following command, I am changing txt file extensions to md file extensions.
for /R %x in (*.txt) do ren "%x" *.md
That is it,..
I hope that you don’t want to be the master of this trade, and let the machine handle this repetitive task for you.
